DJ Mastermind - No Gimmick's '96 Tape #22
Mastermind was like Tony Touch for us up here in Toronto! He always had them joints plus the skills to serve em up in a dope mix! No gimmicks, no shouting, just straight up raw Hip Hop.
If anyone has any more Mixtapes from Mastermind let me know, I'm after one from 98 in the low 40's. It had You Know My Steez, Northern Touch, New York (Ya There), Rare Species Etc. Hopefully one you have this tape...

Nice blog fool. I havent seen this one in a while! Mastermind tapes were always interesting even though I dont think I ever heard him scratch, mix or blend anything. He always had the shit first though "straight out the box" like he used to say

That's the one! Any chance of you ripping that tape Timboland and hitting me off with a link? I would appreciate it, been after it since I lost it.
I'll see what I can do, but I definitely have it. There is a spot where my old Walkman almost ate the tape and it cuts out but whatever right?
